Agropalma          

Operating in the agro-industrial segment since 1982, the Agropalma Group—the largest producer of palm oil in Latin America—encompasses an area of approximately 107,000 hectares of land in total, of which 39,000 hectares are palm plantations and 64,000 hectares are forestry reserves.

Agropalma has a fully traceable production chain, capable of supplying fully separated palm oil products and its by-products through its palm and palm kernel oil extraction industries, and through the refinery dedicated to processing crude oils.

Among all company certifications, a testament to its high degree of social and environmental commitment, we highlight the Organic Production certifications (IBD, Bio Suisse, NOP/USDA, JAS), the EcoSocial seal and the RSPO, certifying 100% of the Agropalma Group palm oil plantation area and its plants.

The RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil) certificate attests the sustainable production of palm oil, pursuant to the Principles and Criteria for Sustainable Palm Oil Production (RSPO P&C). The RSPO Principles and Criteria encompass a commitment to transparency, and to the environmental, social, and economic sustainability pillars, as well as a commitment to continuous improvement.  By complying with these requirements, the Agropalma Group contributes to the generation of wealth and well-being for society, as it maintains a healthy balance between the use of natural resources, the generation and distribution of income and the profitability of the business.

Agropalma operates both in the domestic and international markets, exporting around 15% of its production, of which approximately 95% goes to Europe and 5% to the US.

In 2016, Agropalma opened its second refinery, located in the city of Limeira, state of São Paulo, which brought the company closer to its clients in the South and Southeast regions. The new plant features a multi-oil refinery with state-of-the-art equipment and an Innovation Center ready to service the industry. In addition to expanding the Agropalma production capacity, their possibility of producing special fats with high added value was also taken into consideration.

Biorigin    

Biorigin is a business unit of Zilor, a company with over 70 years of experience and one of the largest Brazilian ethanol, sugar, and electricity producers.

Founded in 2003, Biorigin is a Brazilian company with global operations combining knowledge and technology to promote health and quality of life.  Its goal is to produce natural ingredients to service the food industry and meet demands such as flavor enhancement, sodium content reduction, in addition to extending food shelf-life. It also develops ingredients to promote feed nutritional enrichment and improve animal health.

Biorigin adds technology and innovation to its processes to deliver differentiated solutions that meet market demands.  By controlling the entire production chain, it ensures the traceability of the entire process, providing greater safety for its customers.

Furthermore, Biorigin has a Research and Development Center, with three laboratories and a pilot plant to offer the best technologies to its customers. The company also has partnerships with units and the most renowned research institutes in Brazil and abroad to test product results, functionalities, and applications.

Biorigin is ISO 22000 and FSSC 22000 certified. These certifications are specific global standards for the food chain, covering all stages of production. 

Creamy Creation   

Creamy Creation history began in 1979, with the development and production of emulsified beverages for customers around the world.

The company is a global leader in the segment of alcoholic cream bases for the B2B market, in addition to being a specialist in nutritional drinks and iced coffee.  

Its history started in the Netherlands, in 1979 and, since then, the company continued to expand its facilities.  Production currently takes place in Rijkevoort, Netherlands, Batavia and New York. The company also has a sales team that covers several regions around the world.

Custom Fiber   

The Food Ingredients Group – FIG owns five companies operating in over 70 countries.

FrieslandCampina is a Dutch multinational dairy cooperative based in the Netherlands.  It is the result of a merger between Friesland Foods and Campina on December 31, 2008.

Currently the company owns four divisions called:  FrieslandCampina Consumer Dairy, offering consumers a diverse range of dairy products. FrieslandCampina Dairy Essentials, present in the main European markets producing and selling cheese, butter and powdered milk. TastePoint 

IFF is fueled by a sense of discovery, constantly asking itself “What if?” In the US, in 2015, this question led to the acquisition of other flavor companies and in 2017 they teamed up to create TastePoint.  A company that is driven by passion and enhanced with IFF technology and expertise.

In Brazil, IFF acquired Frutarom in 2018, a great opportunity to replicate this successful business model in the Brazilian market. A new company was created, combining the strengths of IFF and Frutarom, aiming at meeting the needs of our ever-changing market.

Kemin
